Training of World class Catechists and Teachers of Faith
The Catholic Church recognizes the importance of both catechism and evangelization for the growth and development of the faith. In recent years, the Vatican has called for a "new evangelization" that emphasizes the importance of spreading the message of the gospel to all people, including those who have lost their faith or have never heard it before.
The Vatican has also emphasized the importance of catechism in the formation of Catholic youth, as well as adults who are seeking to deepen their understanding of the faith. The Catechism of the Catholic Church is a comprehensive resource that provides an overview of Catholic teachings and beliefs, and is used by catechists, teachers, and others to instruct others in the faith.
In conclusion, the Vatican and the Catholic Church place a strong emphasis on catechism and evangelization as essential elements of the Catholic faith. Through catechism, the Church seeks to deepen the understanding of the faith among its members, while through evangelization, it seeks to spread the message of the gospel to all people.
